Ultimate Jet currently has seven aircraft listed on its charter certificate, with six of the aircraft now appearing on an auction site.

Private Jet charter operator Ultimate Jet, which was thought to be in negotiations last year to buy Vista Global’s Citation X fleet, has apparently suspended operations.

Brokers tell Private Jet Card Comparisons that the Canton, Ohio-based private jet charter operator had stopped responding to quote requests in the past 30 to 60 days.

The latest data from the Federal Aviation Administration shows Ultimate Jet Charters, LLC, has seven aircraft on its charter certificate.

That includes five Citation Xs and a pair of Embraer 135 regional jets.

Last year, Ultimate Jets was believed to have begun recruiting pilots in anticipation of a deal to acquire close to two dozen former XOJet super-midsize airplanes.

That deal was never consummated.

Six aircraft listed on the Ultimate Jet certificate appear on the Kiko Auctions website (below).

The Citation Xs listed all have over 15,000 hours of flight time.

Kiko Auctions describes the aircraft as follows:

‘This fleet of six high-performance business jets presents a rare chance for operators, investors, and private buyers to expand their aviation portfolio. This fleet features four Cessna Citation X aircraft, renowned for their speed and luxury, and two Embraer EMB 135 jets, each capable of seating 30 passengers. All six aircraft are located at Akron–Canton Airport CAK and have been meticulously maintained under FAA Part 135 standards for commercial operations. This exclusive live auction offers online bidding, making it a prime chance to acquire top-tier aviation assets. Don’t miss out on owning these high-performance, well-cared-for planes!’

The auction website lists April 14, 2025, as the auction date.

It refers to the event as a “fleet liquidation.”

The notice reads, “Absolute Auction, All Sells To The Highest Bidder, No Minimums or Reserves, On Location.”

An official with Ultimate Jet declined to comment.

Sources say the company is also trying to sell itself, and the situation is fluid.

As of this afternoon, its website had a message, “ERROR 404 – PAGE NOT FOUND.”

Ultimate Jet

Ultimate Jet has a small jet card program.

It’s unknown how many members the program had or if they had funds on deposit.
