Private Jet Flight Activity Analysis – 2025 – Week 23

Worldwide private jet activity rose 2% in Week 23, making 19 weeks with year-over-year gains, two flat weeks, and two weeks with decreases.

Week 23 saw worldwide private jet flight activity (73,343 segments) score its 21st consecutive week of 2025, equal to or surpassing the same week in 2024.

Activity was up 2% year-over-year

If you are keeping score, WingX data shows 19 weeks with year-over-year increases, two weeks that were flat, and only two weeks with decreases.

Sequentially, the week ending June 8, 2025, edged up 1%.

The U.S. (48,017 segments) increased by 2% year-over-year and 4% week-over-week.

Over the trailing four weeks, U.S. departures (194,936) were up 6% compared to 2024.

European private jet flight activity (13,333 segments) marked a 6% year-over-year increase.

Over the trailing four weeks, European departures (51,011) increased by 2% compared to the same period in the previous year.

The Middle East (1,588 movements) posted an 11% year-over-year gain.

Asia (1,978 private flights) was the only region to decline year-over-year, with a 2% drop in Week 23.

Charter and Fractional operators (37,445 segments) were flat compared to last year and down 1% from Week 22.

The U.S. (25,561) posted a 1% year-over-year decline but was flat sequentially.

European fractional and charter flights (9,177) increased by 3% compared to 2024, despite a 4% decline from Week 22.

Asia (-38%) and Africa (-15%) both saw double-digit year-over-year decreases.

Over the past four weeks, charter and fractional departures in Asia (-19%) and Africa (-4%) were down.

On the plus side, South America saw 43% more fractional and charter segments over the past month; alas, that was just 152 flights.
