Executive Chairman Jamie Walker says clients who appreciated the Jet Linx locally-oriented focus can look forward to more of what they liked.

Walker returned to the corner office in July after a two-year hiatus.

During an interview at NBAA-BACE here in Las Vegas, he praised Brent Wouters, who served as CEO during that period.

He says Wouters created efficiencies and structural streamlining.

At the same time, he says, since his return, it has been reaffirmed that the best way to grow is to again focus on markets.

Jet Linx operates private terminals in over 20 markets.

The terminals are for the exclusive use of its aircraft management and jet card customers.

In addition to valet service, they offer an open bar, complimentary meeting rooms, and car detailing while you are away.

Walker says Jet Linx never moved away from the model, pointing out that it opened a new base in Salt Lake City during Wouters’ tenure.

Walker points to California as being the highest focus for expansion.

Its most western base is currently Scottsdale.

The renewed local focus will emphasize in-market client service and sales teams.

Walker, who served as CEO for two decades, said the winning approach offers local market clients the personalized service of a local operator with national scale and resources.

Jet Linx ended 2024 as the 9th-largest U.S. operator measured by charter and fractional hours.

Walker declined to discuss other moves.

However, he did not rule out that Jet Linx would revive its model of local base partners.

The company previously used a base partner model.

In 2020, it consolidated ownership by buying out base partners.

The previous approach enabled Jet Linx to tap into successful entrepreneurs with strong local market contacts.
