VistaJet has already flown 37 domestic charter flights in Saudi Arabia since becoming the first foreign operator to gain authority in August.
VistaJet has already operated 37 flights since receiving approval to operate in the domestic Saudi Arabian market in August.
The sister of broker XO was the first foreign operator authorized to offer private jet charter flights within the Kingdom.
Vista’s Regional President Mazen Obaid (pictured) and Chief Business Officer Youssef Mouallem spoke to Alarabiya’s The Deal in an interview broadcast earlier today.
Obaid said the company was pleased with demand.
Charter prices are averaging around $15,000 per hour on its Challenger 350 fleet.
So far, Riyadh-Jeddah and vice versa have been the top domestic routes.
The executives said most flights include the triangle of Riyadh-Jeddah-Dubai.
However, new luxury tourist destinations such as Neom and Al-Ula, which are more challenging to reach via scheduled airlines, are also attracting interest.
There were four flights for visitors to Sindalah, a new Red Sea private island resort and yachting hub on its opening day.
Internationally, Obaid said VistaJet is seeing more flights between the U.S. and Europe.
London-Riyadh is the top international route linking Saudia, according to Mouallem, the company’s chief business officer.
Demand is from both business travelers and high-end tourists to the Kingdom, according to the executives.
Obaid told the news site that VistaJet saw a 48% year-over-year increase in regional flying during the first half of 2025.
Saudi Arabia was already up 32% in the first six months before VistaJet launched domestic flights.
The executives said Vista Global is actively recruiting and looking to train local talent.
Obaid said, “The company aims to adapt its global operational expertise to the needs of the local market by providing customized services to Saudi customers.”
Recently, Vista added a domestic U.K. service, a byproduct of Brexit.
It has previously been expanding operations in Africa.
