Vista Global’s Vista America has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration’s Diamond Award of Excellence.

It is the highest FAA distinction for maintenance training.

It recognizes steadfast commitment to safety, technical expertise, and continuous investment in its people and systems.

To earn this award, 100% of eligible maintenance technicians must complete a year-long specialized training program.

The curriculum covers advanced aircraft systems, complex regulations, and critical safety procedures.

The Vista America fleet is used to fulfill charter flights for customers of its VistaJet and XO brands.

According to Vista Global:

‘This level of commitment directly enhances operational reliability and passenger safety, providing clients with confidence in every aspect of their flight experience. It demonstrates a proactive dedication to exceeding industry benchmarks rather than merely meeting them, reinforcing Vista America’s reputation as a trusted leader in the aviation sector and ensuring reliable, safe service on every flight.’

Vista America David Stanley says, “Earning the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence reflects the discipline, expertise, and accountability our technicians bring to every aircraft, every day.”

He adds, “I’m incredibly proud of our team for continually raising the standard of what operational excellence looks like in business aviation.”

Vista America operators already hold Wyvern Wingman Pro, ARGUS Platinum Elite, and IS-BAO Stage 3.

Its German unit recently attained Wyvern re-certification.

The company has also been implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT) principles in the United States.

The move mirrors sister company VistaJet Limited.

VistaJet Limited was the first business aviation company globally to receive formal approval for EBT.

Last November, it added a U.S. Challenger 350 simulator.

The Vista America fleet is operated under the certificates of JetSelect, LLC, and Western Air Charter, Inc.

In the FAA’s most recent update of certificated Part 135 operators and their aircraft, Vista America had just over 90 aircraft available for charter.

In 2025, it ranked as the third-largest U.S. operator by charter and fractional flight hours.

Vista Global recently placed an order for 160 Bombardier Challenger 3500s.
