Delta Air Lines is switching representatives on the Wheels Up board, while Roger Farah will replace former AOL chairman Tim Armstrong.
Wheels Up Experience Inc. is making several moves at the board of directors level.
Delta Air Lines Chief Financial Officer Erik Snell will rejoin the board.
Delta Air Lines is the largest shareholder of Wheels Up.
He replaces Dan Janki.
Janki was the previous designee for Delta.
Janki was recently promoted to chief operating officer at the airline.
Snell previously served on the Board from July 2021 to September 2023.
At the same time, former Tiffany & Co., Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch boss Roger Farah is joining the Wheels Up board of directors.
He replaces former AOL chairman Timothy Armstrong.
Armstrong said after two successive three-year terms, he decided not to stand for re-election.
The changes will take place at the next annual meeting scheduled for June.
CEO George Mattson said, “Erik’s appointment further underscores the continued strength of our strategic partnership with Delta Air Lines, and Delta’s commitment to supporting Wheels Up’s continued transformation and long-term growth.”
Chairman Adam Zirkin speaking about Farah, said, “Roger has extensive operating experience building and scaling premium brands that we believe will be invaluable as we continue to establish Wheels Up as a premium private aviation solutions platform, in addition to being a seasoned director with deep governance experience.”
Snell, a longtime Delta executive, was chief customer experience officer before moving to the CFO role.
He also served as president of Delta Private Jets before its 2019 sale to Wheels Up.
Farah has previously served as chairman of the board of Tiffany & Co., co-chief executive officer of Tory Burch, and president and COO of Ralph Lauren.
He also served as a director of Aetna from 2007 until its merger with CVS Health in 2018.
Farah plans to step down as a director of CVS Health in May.
Wheels Up was the fourth-largest operator in the U.S. last year based on charter and fractional flight hours.
