JSX's Jeff Simmons named top CFO in D CEO awards

The D CEO 2026 Financial Executive Awards recognize Dallas-area financial executives.

Jeff Simmons of JSX has been named to a top honor in the D CEO 2026 Financial Executive Awards.

The award ceremony took place earlier this week.

The awards honor executives of Dallas, Texas-based companies.

Simmons was named as the top CFO in the Large Company category.

According to D CEO:

‘Jeff Simmons has helped guide the company through a period of rapid growth, strengthening its financial performance while supporting a highly complex and operationally intensive business. His leadership has positioned the company to scale while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and innovation. He has overseen significant fleet expansion, entry into new markets, and continued double-digit revenue growth, while enhancing financial systems and driving greater efficiency across the organization. His ability to pair financial discipline with operational insight has been key to JSX’s continued momentum.’

Simmons joined JSX in March 2021.

He previously spent 15 years at PwC.

Before that, he held senior finance positions at DHL Airways and Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

Other finalists included Vivek Gandhi of Bioworld Merchandising; Kara McKinney of Envoy Air; Sunday Morgan of First Command Financial Services; Kent Smith of Shaddock Homes; and Jeff Vines of RailPros.

A panel of industry judges selected winners.

This year’s judges were Jennifer Cuello of EisnerAmper, Robert Gouge of Frost Bank, Trey Knapp of Sewell Automotive Cos., Kyle Ratliff of Tenet Healthcare, and Patrick Tam of Bright Balance.
