Greece, Ibiza, and traditional hot spots on the French Riviera are attracting private jet travelers this summer per Chapman Freeborn.
Demand for private jet flights to Europe is strong, according to an executive at charter broker Chapman Freeborn.
That’s despite rising fuel prices and wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Vice President Claudia Krajhanzl says demand for European summer travel from the GCC “is expected to remain strong, particularly for destinations that offer flexibility, luxury hospitality, and access to multiple experiences.”
She says, “Greece is likely to remain a standout performer.”
It appeals to those seeking culture, privacy, yachting, and island escapes.
Ibiza’s evolution into a luxury lifestyle destination is also spurring interest.
Last year, Ibiza saw a 29% increase in flights from the GCC.
At the same time, Karjhanzi says, “Traditional favorites such as London, Nice and the wider French Riviera are expected to remain core markets.”
Major events, established luxury infrastructure, and strong connections to GCC travelers drive demand.
She adds, “We expect travelers to continue prioritizing flexibility, privacy, and the ability to tailor their journeys around the experiences that matter most to them.”
