The world’s largest private jet operator plans to build a new terminal, hangar, and facilities at Dallas Love Field Airport.
NetJets plans to build a private terminal for its customers at Dallas Love Field Airport in Texas, according to a Dallas Morning News report.
Public filings show it will cost $35 million and be completed by May 2028.
The project includes an aircraft hangar, a passenger terminal, shops, and office space.
Per TexasDLR filings, the project is called the Dallas NetJets Campus, and the new facility will be Hangar E.
Construction will cover 80,000 square feet, including an 80,000-square-foot aircraft hangar and 18,000 square feet of shops and office space.
The design firm is Corgan Associates, based in Dallas and with experience at airports nationwide.
That includes the new Hollywood Burbank Airport Passenger Replacement Terminal and New Terminal 6 at New York’s JFK Airport.
The project is expected to start in November 2026 and end in May 2028.
According to construction permits filed with the City of Dallas, the project will have three phases.
First, the project will demolish six existing aircraft hangars (buildings E, F, K, L, M, and N) and Terminal J down to their foundations in preparation for the next two phases.
Phase two will include construction of a 14,000-square-foot private passenger terminal. It will also renovate existing parking, landscaping, and utility lines.
Finally, phase three will build an 80,000-square-foot aircraft maintenance hangar, along with 20,000 sq ft of warehouse shops and offices.
While plans can always take unexpected turns, the permits do detail how NetJets hopes the project will go.
In 2025, KDAL in Dallas was ranked as the second-busiest private jet airport in the country.
