Guy Oseary has founded a jet-sharing membership that has partnered with Executive Jet Management for by-the-seat charter flights.
Jet-sharing is getting a high-profile new entrant in Guy Oseary.
The Hollywood talent manager is synonymous with Madonna and U2.
He was an early investor in Uber and Airbnb.
Oseary is now behind FlyWith.
The invitation-only membership starts in the low five figures.
It has lined up former Exclusive Resorts and Atlantic Aviation senior executive Brian Corbett as CEO.
Longtime NetJets executive Amanda Harrison comes from Four Seasons Yachts for the launch.
There are currently 18 full-time employees.
Executive Jet Management, Berkshire Hathaway’s charter and aircraft management unit, will be the primary provider of flights.
Members can book flights and share seats.
They can also propose routings.
You can also review other listings.
Flight hosts can set policies on kids and pets.
There will be groups around sports teams and events, as well as Art Basel and the like.
Partnerships include Discovery Land, Zero Bond, Crane Club, and The Bird Streets Club to provide a flow of members.
The official launch was this morning.
However, Corbett says the club is already up and running and has already successfully matched members.
Unlike the social media groups, you cannot use your existing jet cards, fractional shares, or pre-booked charter flights (in violation of the program rules).
Jet owners can sell seats only if their aircraft is Part 135 and managed by Executive Jet Management.
Corbett says the concept is Oseary’s brainchild.
He was recruited nearly a year ago to launch the program.
