JSX is the top choice of Travel + Leisure’s readers for the third straight year while Aero placed second on the list.
According to readers of Travel + Leisure, the top two domestic airlines are JSX and Aero.
JSX marks its third straight year at the top of the rankings after winning in both 2024 and 2025.
More than 207,000 readers voted in the 2026 World’s Best survey.
They cast 661,000 votes across more than 10,088 total hotels, cities, cruise lines, and airlines.
Both JSX and Aero operate as public charters, selling seats on scheduled flights.
However, each uses private terminals and hangars, enabling flyers to save time and avoid the masses.
Travel + Leisure wrote, “JSX might be the only air carrier that actually encourages its customers to test out airport theory, a viral social media challenge where travelers show up to the airport just 20 minutes before boarding,” adding, “Since JSX operates out of private terminals, travelers bypass traditional check-in desks, long TSA lines, and crowded gates, making an often-agonizing process quick and painless.”
It scored a 91.59 out of 100.
Aero was second with an 82.83.
Hawaiian Airlines, with a score of 79.84, placed third.
Breeze Airways was fourth, with Delta Air Lines in fifth place.
Last month, APEX named JSX the best regional airline in North America.
Both JSX and Aero were ranked on Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice list of best domestic airlines last October.
