Jason Vanis, a senior vice president at the jet operator, is one of the eight recipients who’ll receive the award at the next NBAA conference.
Jet Linx Senior VP Jason Vanis won an industry award for professionalism and leadership.
The NBAA’s 2026 Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award also recognized seven others.
The award ceremony will take place October 20 at this year’s NBAA-BACE conference in Las Vegas.
“These eight individuals represent the very best of what it means to be a professional in business aviation,” said Mark Larsen, NBAA Director of Safety and Flight Operations, in a press release.
Larsen continued:

Jason Vanis has been Senior Vice President of Operations at the Nebraska-based operator for over seven years.
Per his LinkedIn, Vanis has worked there continuously for over 16 years.
He also co-founded Aviation Integration and worked at Mayo Aviation.
The professionalism award was first presented in 2016 and honors U.S. Air Force veteran and author Dr. Kern.
It recognizes aviation professionals for their leadership, ethics, improvement, engagement, and more.
The award ceremony will take place at this year’s NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas.
Nominations for the 2027 award will begin in January.
