The jet card broker has also enhanced its “build your own jet card feature” on its website
Promotionally minded Magellan Jets is rolling out a number of promotions valid now through December 31, 2017. The jet card broker also says it has enhanced its Bespoke Individual Membership feature on its website enabling users to “create” their own jet card. Magellan recently introduced a new corporate jet card program targeting businesses that need over 100 hours per year in charters. That initiative was first reported here by Private Jet Card Comparisons. All Magellan jet card products have guaranteed availability and rates.
In an exclusive interview, Magellan’s president Anthony Tivnan said the Q4 promotions cannot be combined with other offers and have a limited number of cards available. Top of the line is a Heavy Jet offer for new memberships on a GIV/GIV-SP or G450, beginning at 25 hours. Hourly rates of $11,272 (Gulfstream GIV/GIV-SP) or $12,477 on a Gulfstream G450 apply. The cards come with three-hour minimums and are rate locked in for 12 months
For customers who purchase a Challenger 300 50-Hour jet card membership, they will receive a complimentary 5-Hour Hawker 400 XP jet card. Tivnan says the 5-hour cards make a sure to please stocking stuffer, a nice incentive to have the kids come to your house for the holidays or are good for trips that don’t require a Challenger 300. He also suggests the Hawker card could be a nice gift for your significant other during the holiday season. Of course, your significant other might want to know why they are only getting five hours to your 50.
A third fourth-quarter promotion is a Mid-Size jet card giving folks who purchase a Hawker 800 XP 25-Hour jet card membership a 25% Fuel Discount and two complimentary upgrades to a Super-Mid aircraft. The discounted fuel rate and complimentary upgrades is a $6,704 value, Tivnan says.
Current Magellan Jets customers who renew at 50 hours on a Midsize Jet or larger will receive a 24-month rate lock. As a member incentive to burn hours, for all flights scheduled by Nov. 3, 2017, jet card holders receive a complimentary $500 allowance for catering or ground transportation and all interchange fees are waived.
The a la carte app on its website enables you to see the pricing difference not only by jet size but by adding on amenities such as WiFi, catering, discounts from published fuel surcharges and so on. Tivnan says while most people don’t buy using the app, when they speak to a Magellan consultant, it helps identify the variables they value the most.
Magellan Jets earlier this year offered a limited time $25,000 Father’s Day jet card as well as a jet card based around The Masters. Last year it offered a special jet card targeting parents taking a child on a college tour. Tivnan says two customers who came to the college tour promotion through that promotion ended up becoming jet-card customers. For more information about the promotions, call 877.550.5387.
