The most popular private jet in the U.S. for 2019 wasn’t a jet.
The Swiss-made Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop was the most popular private aircraft clocking 244,217 flights in 2019, according to Argus Traqpak.
Second most popular was the King Air 200, a twin-engine turboprop that fleetwide made enjoyed 180,219 flights last year.

The most popular private jet was Textron’s Citation Excel/XLS series which ruled the midsize category with 161,323 flights.
In terms of super long-range private jets, the preferred chariot of private fliers is the Gulfstream G550, with 49,534 flights.
Bombardier’s Challenger 300 topped activity in the super-midsize market while Embraer’s Phenom 300 and Phenom 100 ruled the light and very light jet segments.
