Jet Cards with the least Peak Days in 2022

By Doug Gollan, April 14, 2022

As the number of peak days soars, these jet card providers and programs have the fewest high-demand dates

The number of North American jet card programs with over 60 high-demand days has increased from four to 14 since the beginning of last year.

From just one program with more than 70 peak days, there are now seven, including six with over 90 peak days.

Currently, jet card programs have an average of 49.1 peak days, high-demand dates, and blackout days, an increase of 25% since the end of last year.

While not all have surcharges, they can range up to 100%. There are also blackouts.

And there is a longer lead time to book and cancel. In some cases, reservations on peak days can’t be canceled or changed.

As importantly, providers can accelerate or delay your departure time by up to six hours.

It can be an issue if you need to get somewhere or have a round of golf or an afternoon on the slopes.

For those of you who aren’t flexible to avoid Peak Days, we’ve identified those providers with the fewest peak days in 2022.

With only five high-demand dates, Northern Jet Managment offers the most flexibility.

Close behind is Wheels Up’s Core membership $400,000 Fund account with just 10 peak days. Its $200,000 and $400,000 Fund accounts have 20 peak days, good for the fourth-fewest on our list.

In between is Leviate Air Group with 14 peak days.

For global travelers, VistaJet’s Program has 29 peak days, although they are off-limits during the first 90 days for new members.

Sentient Jet has just 30 peak days. However, it also has a 200 flight hours per day cap to consider.

Jet Aviation, which recently switched to a customized approach, officially has 33 peak days, rounding out the programs with the 10 fewest high-demand days.

Included are jet card programs with fixed or capped rates and guaranteed availability. Peak and high-demand dates are included.
