Jet card and on-demand charter broker Jets.com is now an Argus Certified Broker

New York-based jet card and on-demand charter broker Jets.com has achieved Certified Broker status from Argus.

The broker certification is in addition to Argus’ ratings of operators.

There are two levels of broker audits: Registered is the entry level, and then Certified is the highest level.

Argus Certified level includes a two-day on-site audit by a certified broker auditor from Argus to show compliance with each of Argus Standards.

The audit is conducted once every two years.

Before becoming Certified, the charter broker must be first recognized as a Registered Charter Broker.

That includes showing commitment and compliance with industry best practices and applicable regulations and proof of specific requirements.

Applicants are evaluated by:

  • Ethical and legal business practices
  • Compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and customer-dictated preferences
  • Fiscal integrity and appropriate transparency throughout the transaction
  • Recourse mechanisms for complaints, disputes, investigation, and resolution
  • Passenger safety and security
  • Perform due diligence on charter operators in a systematic and consistent manner
  • Compliance with industry standards for charter brokers
  • Aviation knowledge and brokering experience
  • Passenger comfort and service
  • Employee hiring and training practices relevant to this business

There are currently only 15 Certified level brokers.

The Jets.com jet card is a hybrid program. That means on-fleet via Argus Platinum operator Private Jet Center (formerly Pittsburgh Jet Center) and off-fleet via third-party operators.
