JSX flyers will now receive free high-speed WiFi via Elon Musk’s Starlink across its entire fleet.
JSX has fully installed SpaceX’s Starlink in-flight WiFi across its entire active fleet of 40 Embraer jets.
The complimentary connectivity is now on all flights.
The Dallas-based shared private jet airline is Starlink’s global launch customer with an agreement to outfit up to 100 aircraft.
JSX offers scheduled flights where you buy seats like the regular airlines. However, it uses private terminals, meaning you avoid the airport mess and can check in up to 20 minutes before departure.
The Embraer 135/145 regional jets it flies have been reconfigured with extra legroom.
It currently has 750 weekly flights in 26 markets nationwide and recently announced Nashville, Nantucket, and Portland, Maine, to its network.
According to the release, JSX expanded fleet size by 234% between 2021 and 2023, with a 142% increase in operated flights.
The completion rate is over 99.5%, which the company says is the industry’s best.
“Being industry disruptors is in our DNA, and we share a united vision with SpaceX to provide incredible internet access, completely free, to our valued customers – discerning travelers who choose JSX to avoid hassle, nickel & diming, and undue stress,” says JSX CEO Alex Wilcox.
