By-the-seat private jet flight provider JSX is switching to private jet airport Scottsdale to serve the Valley of the Sun.

JSX may have embarked on an out-of-sight, out-of-mind strategy.

On Jan. 10, 2024, it will move its Phoenix area, flying from Sky Harbor Airport to Scottsdale Airport.

The latter serves private jets exclusively and is one of the busiest airports in the country.

JSX has made similar moves in Austin, Miami, and San Diego.

From SDL, JSX will offer flights to Burbank (BUR) 12 times weekly, Las Vegas (LAS) 11 times weekly, and Denver/Boulder (BJC) once daily.

The by-the-seat private flight provider recently accused American Airlines and Southwest Airlines of colluding to shut it down.

The pair have hubs and focus-city operations in the cities where JSX moved airports, including at PHX.
