Air Charter Service has appointed Andrew Summers as Regional Director for its Mainland European offices.

“We believe that a dedicated focus on the continent is essential to our growth plans – a region that makes up 15% of the global economy,” Air Charter Service Chairman Chris Leach said.

He added, “Over the past decade, Andrew has been head of our Middle East, Africa, and India region, based in Dubai, and has done a fantastic job growing our business across that region.”

Summers will be responsible for all three divisions – cargo, private jets, and group travel.

He will continue to oversee growth in Central Asia through the company’s Kazakhstan office.

Summers has been with the U.K.-based charter broker for 18 years.

He started in London before transferring to the Dubai office in 2014.

“I have loved my time in the Middle East, but am thrilled to be returning to the U.K. headquarters and taking on the European charter market,” Summers said.
