Volato empty-leg app Vaunt adds FlyExclusive flights

Vaunt, the empty-leg membership arm of Volato Group, Inc., has made its first FlyExclusive flights available on its app.

The company said it “is the start of a larger effort to expand the flight options available to Vaunt members, with more additions and features planned in the coming months.”

Previously, it offered flights on Volato’s fleet of HondaJet VLJs and managed aircraft.

In September, Volato transferred its flight operations management to FlyExclusive as it hit financial turbulence.

In a press release, Vaunt said it plans to “steadily increase flight availability and deliver a more robust platform for private travelers.”

Vaunt President Nicholas Cooper said, “The introduction of FlyExclusive flights opens the door to even more opportunities for our members, and this is only the beginning.”

He continued, “We are excited for our Vaunt members to experience flyExclusive’s fleet and service offering. We look forward to continuing to expand Vaunt and enhancing the value it offers to our customers.”

After the agreement with FlyExclusive, Volato said it planned to continue fractional sales on the HondaJet.

However, Honda Aircraft Company canceled its contract.

In September, Volato told members of its refundable jet card seeking their money back, “We recognize that transferring your balance to FlyExclusive may not be your preferred choice, but we strongly believe this is the best recovery option for all Insiders to retain value.”

Vaunt’s annual membership fee is $950.

Members can then list for empty legs.

There is no additional cost. However, members can pay $500 to gain priority.

FlyExclusive is the fifth-largest U.S. charter/fractional operator.
