Chapman Freeborn opens in France, wins charter award

Chapman Freeborn is expanding in France.

The private jet charter broker was also busy collecting awards last month.

Chapman Freeborn is part of Avia Solutions Group.

James Edwards, Vice President of Passenger – Europe, said, “France is a major market in our industry, and I am extremely proud to launch our presence here.”

Tiphanie Marie became the Passenger Sales Manager, and Wajdi Zarra became the Senior Passenger Charter Broker.

The moves give Chapman Freeborn a presence in Paris and the South of France.

Chapman Freeborn appointed Bernardo Nunes as its Chief Operating Officer last November as part of a long-term strategy targeting sustainable growth and stronger cultural, strategic, and operational leadership at all levels of the company.

Last year, the broker launched a dynamic pricing jet card in Europe.

Last month in Dubai Chapman Freeborn was voted Best Full-Service Charter Company at the Aviation Achievement Awards.

The award recognized its role in reinforcing supply chains’ resilience through time-critical deliveries, rapid response to humanitarian crises, and private passenger charters.

“This award is a testament to the wide range of expertise across our global team, encompassing everything from the oil and gas sector to humanitarian disaster relief and luxury air travel,” said Linas Dovydenas, President – India, Middle East and Africa, Chapman Freeborn.

MEA Business organized the awards ceremony.

Chapman Freeborn was also on the short-list at the STAT Trade Times International Awards for Excellence in Air Cargo earlier this year.

In October, the Payload Asia Awards recognized it as Air Charter Broker of the Year for the second year.
