Private jet pet travel is increasing.

More pets are flying privately, according to VistaJet.

The unit of Vista Global said the demand for pets is increasing for summer 2025.

That follows a year-over-year 17% increase in flights with pets in 2024.

Where were the pets headed?

The top destinations for pet travel were London, New York, and Nice.

Chief Marketing Officer Matteo Atti says, “VistaJet understands that pets are an integral part of the family, so it is only natural that they should be beside us to share precious moments together.”

Private Jet Pet Travel

The company launched its VistaPet program in 2019.

The program includes several components.

VistaPet Pochette is a travel bag that is carried on board every flight. It contains bio-organic animal treats, water-free shampoos, soothing wipes, and toys to entertain companions throughout the flight.

Pet Private Dining enables members to request a dedicated balanced menu to keep pets hydrated and healthy, with fresh meat and fish or raw vegetables and whole-grain brown rice.

And to get started, there are Fear of Flying courses in partnership with The Dog House at selected locations.

In 2024, 38.7% of Private Jet Card Comparisons subscribers said they planned to bring pets with them in the following 12 months.

So, what are the most common pets?

Dogs were the most popular pet aboard VistaJet flights in 2024 and 2023.

Not as common, but traveling on VistaJet was a blue-tongued skink and a Sulcata tortoise.
