BC Flight continues steady growth with jet card focus

Since its launch in late 2022, BC Flight has been growing steadily, its Founder and CEO, Thane Namy, tells Private Jet Card Comparisons.

The former telecom entrepreneur says the company recently attracted a minority investor, a jet card client who liked its service so much he wanted in.

Namy says the company now has around 65 jet card clients.

Its guaranteed-rate, guaranteed-availability jet card remains pretty much a singular focus.

“When you play in the ad hoc charter segment, there are a lot of shoppers, and that takes time,” he says.

The boutique provider has 10 employees, including two pilots assigned to its first airplane, a refurbished 1990 Citation III that was recently outfitted with WiFi and a new interior featuring high-quality finishes.

Wisconsin-based Heartland Aviation is the operator, and BC Flight is using the jet for both on-fleet client jet card flights and recovery flights for jet card trips arranged via other operators.

Namy says the company has rated operators on a green, yellow, and red scale based on reliability.

He says he quickly concluded that the cheapest options were often more expensive because of their frequent last-minute cancellations.

Plans call for perhaps three or four more jets.

In terms of its jet card program, BC Flight offers an innovative financing option.

Namy says about half of the clients start with financing to mitigate risk.

However, many end up paying off the entire card balance after several flights.

The company continues to provide a complimentary charcuterie board with wine on outbound legs.

BC Flight has been offering monthly promotions.

So far, Namy says, the most successful are those that offer bonus hours and flight credits.

Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but Namy says a jewelry promotion with well-known designer Roberto Coin drew the least interest.

Another less successful promotion was waiving credit card fees.

Its current October 2025 promotion offers up to four free hours.

Jet cards start at 10 hours and are available in two tiers.

The Premium tier offers guaranteed WiFi and, more recently, updated interiors with higher-quality finishes.
