BC Flight is transitioning from pure broker to hybrid with the addition of its first aircraft.
N831VP is a 1990 Citation III midsize jet refurbished in 2021.
Wisconsin-based Heartland Aviation is the operator.
BC Flight is using the jet for both on-fleet client jet card flights and recovery flights for jet card trips arranged via other operators.
It currently has 65 jet card clients.
The Michigan-based flight provider sells nationally.
It launched at the end of 2022.
Founder and CEO Thane Namy tells Private Jet Card Comparisons, “We own 100% of this jet and there is no financing or debt on it.”
There are eight seats in the cabin, including six executive seats and a two-seat divan.
A ninth seat is via a belted lav seat.
Amenities includes Avance L3 WIFI, USB/USB-C Ports, XM Satellite Radio, a DVD player, and stocked refreshment center.
The Citation III fuselage provided the foundation for both the Citation Excel, XLS, and now the Gen2 as well as the Citation X.
Namy says he plans to add airplanes selectively.
He sees the internal fleet as a way to ensure reliability to jet card customers.
As it expands, it will also enter the wholesale market, Namy says.
However, for now the focus is growing its jet card client base.
Jet cards start at 10 hours.
