Top 20 U.S. charter/fractional private jet operator now has maintenance authority in India as part of expansion in Europe and the Middle East.
Fly Alliance’s maintenance arm has expanded into India.
Last month, it received official approval as a Foreign Approved Maintenance Organization (FAMO) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India.
It enables the company to perform maintenance services on Indian-registered aircraft.
Fly Alliance can now support Indian operators with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and global AOG coordination.
“Our expanded DGCA authorization allows us to deliver the same high-touch, responsive maintenance support our clients expect—now with direct service access for Indian-registered aircraft,” said CEO Kevin Wargo.
He continued, “With India’s business aviation market continuing to grow, this approval represents a significant milestone for Fly Alliance Maintenance.”
Wargo said, “Our expanded DGCA authorization allows us to deliver the same high-touch, responsive maintenance support our clients expect—now with direct service access for Indian-registered aircraft.”
The Orlando, Florida-and Providence, Rhode Island-based charter operator and management company also holds FAA approval for U.S.-registered aircraft, EASA approval for European-registered aircraft, and San Marino approval for San Marino–registered aircraft.
Aircraft approved under the Indian authorities include Hawker 750, 800A, 800XP, 850XP, 900XP, Cessna Citation Excel, XLS, XLS+, XLS Gen 2, and Bombardier Global Express, Global 5000, Global 5500, Global 6000, Global 6500, Global 7500, Global 8000
They also recently gained Starlink reseller and installer authorization
It has already installed over 15 units in the second half of 2025.
In December, it launched a Starlink Jet Card.
The company has also expanded its office footprint in Dubai, New Delhi, and San Marino.
The top 20 U.S. charter/fraction operator is “actively progressing toward the addition of their San Marino air operator certificate” under the T7 Registry.
Completion is targeted before Q2 2026.
Upon certification, Fly Alliance will onboard its first Global Express aircraft to the AOC.
