Aircraft owners will receive discounted private jet flight access based on direct operating costs in the new Jet Linx program.
Jet Linx Aviation is targeting private jet owners with a new program called Owner Aircraft Exchange.
The program is available to owners of aircraft it manages.
Executive Chairman Jamie Walker says the program addresses aircraft owners who need supplemental lift as the industry faces extended wait times for maintenance, repairs, and engine overhauls, as well as unexpected maintenance.
Participating aircraft owners may elect to receive a minimum of 10 hours of supplemental flight time annually.
In return, owners provide an equivalent number of hours of availability on their aircraft to support other aircraft owners in the program.
Participating owners pay rates based on direct operating costs on a pay-as-you-go basis.
There are no usage requirements.
Rather, the hours are available when needed.
Jet Linx says “standard industry aircraft management programs” require aircraft owners to pay “retail hourly rates for replacement aircraft, which can cost owners tens of thousands of dollars per day during maintenance periods.”
Walker says, “While the private aviation industry often shares the spotlight with flashy amenities, celebrities, and sports stars, the true ultimate benefit of owning a private jet is to keep moving on your schedule.”
He adds, “The last thing an aircraft owner should worry about is how they will get to their next destination when their aircraft has an unscheduled, or scheduled, maintenance event.”
Walker says the new program “represents an innovative extension of our client-first philosophy, ensuring that our aircraft owners keep moving seamlessly and cost-effectively, fully within the secure and trusted Jet Linx community.”
The program launches on May 1, 2026, with April as the enrollment period.
Walker tells Private Jet Card Comparisons the new program further differentiates Jet Linx from other management programs.
So far this year, it has launched a new program designed to expand its current network of 22 base locations.
It also restarted a program enabling jet card members and aircraft owners to share seats.
In 2025, Jet Linx ranked as the 8th-largest U.S. private jet operator based on charter and fractional flight hours.
