Two Challenger 604s joining this month have expanded the Northern Jet large cabin private jet fleet to four aircraft.
Following the addition of a Challenger 650, Northern Jet has added a pair of Challenger 604s.
The duo of Bombardier large-cabin private jets brings the Northern Jet large-cabin fleet to four aircraft.
CEO Chris Bull says, “Adding two Challenger 604 aircraft is an important step in the continued growth of our heavy jet fleet.”
Bull adds, “These aircraft give our clients more options for longer trips, larger groups, and comfortable private travel.”
Both aircraft are equipped with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi.
Bull says, “As demand grows for flexible access to heavy jet aircraft, we are focused on building a fleet that delivers performance, consistency, and a high level of service.”
In January, Northern Jet launched its first large cabin jet.
Since its 2023 merger with SpeedBird, the company has expanded beyond its Learjet-based midsize regional jet card, targeting flyers between the Upper Midwest and Florida.
It now offers guaranteed pricing and availability nationwide with a 15% premium for flights to and from the Pacific Time Zone.
As of FAA data from May 1, 2026, Northern Jet also had five super midsize Challenger 300 series.
Filling out the super-mid fleet are two Citation Sovereigns and a Citation X.
There are also 10 midsize Learjets, Citation XLS types, CJ3s, a G150, and PC-12.
In addition to its fixed-wing programs, Northern Jet offers on-demand helicopter charters in Florida.
It is among the top 15 U.S. operators by charter and fractional flight hours.
