Wyvern Ltd has renewed VistaJet’s Malta operator as a Wingman-certified operator.

VistaJet GmbH, a Germany-based operator, renewed its Wyvern status in January.

The certification is maintained through ongoing participation in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program.

That includes structured quarterly coaching that supports continuous improvement and reinforces best practices across flight operations.

Vista Global Chief Operating Officer Nick van der Meer says, “We are proud to be recognized among the industry’s elite operators, consistently exceeding the highest international standards across every aspect of our operations.”

He continues, “This reflects the dedication of our teams who consistently deliver confidence and peace of mind to our members and partners, to provide the safest and most reliable global aviation experience possible.”

The Wingman Standard criteria include an assessment of operational activities, a review of the company’s operational history, safety records, a Safety Management System (SMS), an internal evaluation program, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations, including technician training and experience.

The worldwide VistaJet operators, including in the U.S., operate a fleet of over 200 private jets.

The fleet provides access to VistaJet and XO clients.

Earlier this year, Vista Global placed a major order with Bombardier.

The order included 40 Challenger 3500s with options for 120 more.

It is also converting its entire Global 7500 fleet to Global 8000s by the end of 2026.
