Tradewind Aviation is extending its flights from the Boston area to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard through October 12th.
Tradewind Aviation will now offer flights through Columbus Day weekend, from the Boston area to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
This extends their ongoing flights from Hanscom Field, Bedford, to the southeast Massachusetts islands.
Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are both popular summer vacation islands in southern Massachusetts.
Travel + Leisure named Nantucket the third best island in the United States in their World’s Best Awards 2026.
They have also called The Vineyard “an idyllic New England summer escape, with 20 beaches and top-notch dining.”
Tradewind’s routes include New York to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, with the former being year-round and the latter seasonal, May to November.
Their Bedford-Nantucket and Bedford-Martha’s Vineyard routes are also seasonal, originally meant for June-September.
That cutoff has now been extended to October 12, 2026.
All four Northeast routes offer daily flights.
Per-seat prices average $450, with the flights being an alternative to the 4-hour trip from Bedford to either island by car and ferry.
Hanscom Field is the 20th busiest private jet airport in the U.S.
Tradewind Aviation uses the PC-12.
The Pilatus turboprops seat up to eight passengers.
