OneFlight member alleges 'at least' 50 solicitations in final months

The BAJit jet card broker was promoting deep discounts it claimed were to entice new customers to existing members.

During the final months before OneFlight International “paused” operations back in September, one member says he was on the receiving end of “at least” 50 solicitations to add funds.

Florida-based William Thomas Finneran had been a member of the jet card broker since June 2021.

In the latest of more than a dozen lawsuits, Finneran also names Jetstyle Concierge, Inc., a company that arranged car service and catering included in the BAJit jet card program.

The lawsuit also names CEO Ferren Rajput, sales chief Mark Dismuke, and a OneFlight salesperson.

Finneran’s lawsuit alleges:

‘Defendants continued to solicit plaintiff for additional money until the very end. Between June and September 2026, OneFlight, through its sales personnel, sent plaintiff at least fifty emails soliciting additional deposits — at least twice a week, and sometimes twice in a single day, through at least July 27, 2026 and continuing into the final two weeks before OneFlight suspended operations — in amounts that varied and in some instances exceeded $240,000. In those solicitations, OneFlight told plaintiff that his money was safe and that OneFlight was thriving, growing, and financially strong, or words to that effect, and pressed him to act immediately.’

Finneran had not given OneFlight funds since December 2024, when he wired $100,000.

During his membership, he paid $435,000.

It’s also unclear how much he had available in the account when the company ceased operations, although it appears to be at least $75,000, according to the filing.

OneFlight had presented its deeply discounted special offers as very limited.

It had said the offers were targeted at new customers and meant to generate inbound leads.

Rajput had previously said:

‘The promotions are loss leaders, but those loss leaders drive a lot of business. The phones ring, we create more business. The point is you sell 10 cheap cards, and you get those customers for the next four or five years.’

However, an analysis of more than 1,300 jet card transactions reviewed by Private Jet Card Comparisons tells a different story.

41% of the transactions came with bonuses or credits so large the deal was 100% or greater than the cash OneFlight received.

64% of transactions included bonuses or discounts equivalent to at least 50% of the jet card cash received.

New customers accounted for $36 million of the $226 million in jet card cash OneFlight received in the first nine months of the year.

To gain the cash, it promised over $400 million in flights.

Selling to the end

Several lawsuits say OneFlight was soliciting funds from existing customers until hours before it closed its doors.

Robert Milam’s lawsuit documents that he wired OneFlight $250,000 the day before it stopped operations.

Milam was a seven-year customer.

The lawsuit alleges, “Defendants knew, and concealed from Milam, that OneFlight was in dire financial condition and was unable to perform the very obligations it was selling,” adding, “Defendants did not solicit Milam’s $250,000 to provide him flight services; they solicited it as a last-minute cash infusion for a company on the verge of collapse.”

At the time of the transaction, Milam already had a balance of “approximately $438,000 in prepaid funds remaining on deposit.”

OneFlight may have taken as much as $300 million in payments for future flights when it stopped flying.
