Multiple sources tell Private Jet Card Comparisons that OneFlight is pausing flights for at least 30 days.
Denver-based OneFlight International is pausing flights for 30 days, according to several people familiar with internal conversations.
OneFlight executives were not immediately available to comment.
(Updated Sept. 16, 2026 @ 8:30 am EST) However, at least one operator tells Private Jet Card Comparisons they received a trip request for next week this morning. Sources say this could be due to an auto-request system.
(Updated Sept. 16, 2026 @ 11:31 am EST) OneFlight has now confirmed the pause.
On its website (below), it posted, “We are writing to inform you of an important temporary change to OneFlight International flight services.”
It continued, “Effective immediately, OneFlight is pausing all flight activity for the next 30 days, or until further notice, while we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of our current operations and status.”
The notice is signed “OneFlight International.”
It concludes, “We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.”
Last year, the company had $232 million in revenue.
Known for its continuous BAJit television ads featuring celebrities like Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec and NFL Hall of Famer John Elway, along with deeply discounted promotional deals, many customers prepay for future flights, with minimum deposits starting at $100,000.
Based on sales volume, over $150 million in prepaid flights could be at stake.
In a bankruptcy, clients with prepaid charter and jet card flights are unsecured creditors.
Last week, a OneFlight vice president emailed employees to address financial issues.
VP of Human Resources Ruby Dalton wrote that CEO Ferren Rajput was “actively addressing the financial and operations issues that developed under the previous CFO’s leadership and is taking the necessary steps to strengthen OneFlight’s financial position and long-term stability.”
ICE detained former CFO Hanno Uys on Sept. 3, 2026, apparently unrelated to the private jet company.
In August, it emailed clients saying it was imposing a 35% “economic surcharge” with immediate effect, then rescinded it hours later.
It attributed the move “to extraordinary economic pressures currently affecting private aviation.”
In recent weeks, charter operators said the broker of charter flights and jet cards had fallen behind on payments.
Several operators said they were owed more than six figures for flights.
At the same time, other operators said they hadn’t had issues, and operators reported getting paid.
Dalton’s email was in response to former employee Haylee Hilton.
In her resignation email, sent to several departments, Hilton wrote, “The team deserves honesty and regarding OneFlight’s financial and operational position,” adding, “We continue to experience difficulties paying operators, and in doing so are damaging relationships with trusted operators and clients alike.”

OneFlight had been expanding its sports sponsorships before adopting a new, leaner marketing approach.
In 2025, the company became title co-sponsor of the PGA Tour’s Myrtle Beach tournament, which continued again this year.
In January, OneFlight announced a multi-year sponsorship (above) of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team.
TV ads have also included NFL Hall of Famer John Elway, and earlier this year, OneFlight launched a new campaign with PGA pros Akshay Bhatia and Sahith Theegala joining Herjavec and Rajput.
Experts estimate that the sponsorships, event activations, and ongoing ads may have run over $50 million annually.
At the same time, they say jet card brokers spend anywhere from 80% to 90% of revenue to pay charter operators for flights.

In an interview with Private Jet Card Comparisons, Rajput said Hilton had taken remarks he had made internally out of context.
He said OneFlight was cutting costs.
He told us, “We have spent money on ambassadors and big money, and that has delivered our name brand as it is today, and we don’t have the need for it anymore. The marketing has done its work. The branding has been established.”
While Rajput has a Gulfstream jet, agreements with ambassadors and partners meant the broker also had to pay operators for dozens and dozens of flights with no revenue.

OneFlight had been borrowing money based on future receivables.
On July 31, 2026, OneFlight entered into an agreement with Swift Funding Source, Inc.
OneFlight sold Swift $2.29 million of future receipts.
It received $1.65 million, less $82,500 in service fees and amounts used to pay existing obligations.
The agreement sets a 2.34% share of receipts and an initial weekly ACH delivery of $163,821.42.
