Flexjet, Sentient Jet chairman Kenn Ricci named to Town & Country’s Top 50 Philanthropists list

In 2017 Ricci made a $100 million gift to Notre Dame. Other honorees include Michael Bloomberg, Bill and Melinda Gates and George Clooney

 

Kenn Ricci has been named one of Town & Country magazine’s Top 50 Philanthropists. The announcement took place earlier this week during a conference held at the company’s Hearst Tower headquarters in New York. The topic will be the subject of the magazine’s June/July Philanthropy Issue. Ricci is principal at Directional Aviation which controls several aviation companies, including Flexjet, Sentient Jet, Skyjet and Nextant Aerospace. The honor comes after Ricci created a groundbreaking giving structure called a Philanthropic Succession Partnership (PSP) to donate $100 million to the University of Notre Dame, the single largest unrestricted, guaranteed gift ever committed to the University. 

XOJET Elite Access Adds Mid-Size And Light Jets; New $50,000 Select Access Private Jet Membership Launched

The cost of Light Jets is $5,500 per hour and $6,750 per hour for Mid-Size Jets in XOJET’s new Elite Access private jet membership program.

 

 

XOJET has posted on its website some details of its updated Preferred Access and Elite Access programs with the biggest changes around its Elite Access program which continues to require a $200,000 deposit. Private Jet Card Comparisons had previously reported the San Francisco-area based operator and broker was set to launch significant revisions to its programs. 

LunaJets To Support World Bicycle Relief Association

European on-demand charter broker LunaJets announced it is supporting the World Bicycle Relief Association as part of its corporate social responsibility programs. The move reflects the industry’s strong penchant for helping out and giving back. Last year, private jet owners provided over 15,000 flights for humanitarian relief reasons while 25% of business aviation pilots flew at least one humanitarian relief mission.
