China’s Amber Aviation receives first ex-NetJets private jets

Amber Aviation says it has launched its jet card and fractional programs in China ahead of former NetJets private jets it is now receiving

NetJets-backed Amber Aviation has begun taking delivery of aircraft formerly flown by the Berkshire Hathaway-owned operator. The company is selling fractional leases and jet cards.

Amber Aviation said today it has closed a Series B funding round, including financing from existing investor Hony Capital. However, the big news is that among the new investors is NetJets.

Air Charter Service is expanding its footprint in Asia with a new office in Shanghai.  It marks its second in the country and 24th globally. Last year, the broker of private jet charters, jet cards and cargo flights generated nearly $700 million in revenues.
