After buying XOJET and then JetSmarter, last year Vista Global Holdings merged the two companies to create XO. Newly appointed chief commercial officer Ron Silverman talks about what’s next…
Recently, Vista Global Holdings (VCH) moved its president of client experiences, Ron Silverman, to its XO unit as the chief commercial officer. A veteran of both Executive Jet Management and Wheels Up, Silverman joined VistaJet in 2014 to lead its launch into the North American market.
Our 3.5-hour billing cap on super-midsize aircraft is a phenomenal value and great opportunity for anyone traveling cross country. On a Citation X, it’s $31,625, including taxi time, with guaranteed availability. Ron Silverman, chief commercial officer, XO
Now following VCH’s acquisition of XOJET and JetSmarter, and rebranding the combined duo as XO, chairman Thomas Flohr is promising an expansion of the brand to Europe, plus a range of new programs.
RISE is targeting fliers traveling privately 15 hours per year
Vista Global has also dropped references to JetSmarter in its XO branding
XO, which was formed by the merger of JetSmarter and XOJET, is making more tweaks to its membership offerings.
The biggest is the launch of RISE, a new tier targeting private travelers who fly less 15 hours per year.
It is priced at $595 and joins Select Access, Signature Access and Elite Access in the XO line-up membership line-up.
In a press release, the company said, “RISE makes private
aviation more accessible and valuable for those who seek to use it more
frequently – or have never experienced it – as well as those who fly private
regularly, but are not
getting the elevated service, flexibility and quality aircraft they deserve.”
XO plans to expand both fixed and dynamic pricing jet memberships to Europe by 2020
With the “heavy lifting” of the XOJET-JetSmarter integration behind it, Vista Global chairman Thomas Flohr tells Private Jet Card Comparisons the company will roll out memberships for its rebranded XO in Europe as early as second quarter 2020.
Additionally, the company is making a major change in how it sells both on-demand private jet charter as well as pricing options for its dynamic pricing jet card membership programs.
