Wisconsin based co-ownership and co-lease flight provider Jet Out has entered South Florida with its first based outside the Midwest.
Co-lease and co-ownership private jet flight provider Jet Out has opened a base at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
It marks the company’s first move outside the Midwest.
The Wisconsin-based operator started operations in Fort Lauderdale in September when the company took delivery of two factory-new Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft.
Its facility is located within the Sheltair FBO.
There is also a customer lounge, sales office, and line maintenance base.
CEO Joseph Crivello says, “South Florida is a key part of Jet Out’s growth strategy.”
He adds, “Our local-national model ensures our co-owners and clients in the region have access to unparalleled service, performance, and value.”
The local base includes pilots, mechanics, and aircraft detailers.
There are already more than 10 Fort Lauderdale-based employees.
Jet Out plans to expand its presence by adding an expected local staff of 20, per the announcement.
FLL is the nation’s 20th-busiest airport for private jets.
South Florida has five of the 25 most used private jet airports.
