F1 Miami sees most private jet flight activity since 2022 as worldwide private jet departures increase 3% year-over-year.
Worldwide private jet flight activity (73,755 departures) declined 4% week-to-week but was still 3% ahead of 2024 for Week 18 of 2025.
U.S. private jet departures (51,274) were 1% ahead of last year and down 3% from the previous week.

If you are looking for signs of how tariffs and economic uncertainty translate into private jet usage, private jet arrivals for the F1 Miami were at their highest since 2022.
The 1,314 arrivals were up from 1,283 last year and 1,268 in 2023.
They still trailed the 1,492 for the F1’s initial run here.
WingX Managing Director Richard Koe noted:
‘The impact of tariffs is still difficult to discern, with business jet flights from the U.S. to Mexico up 9% compared to April last year, flights to Canada falling 1%, and flights from Canada to the United States up 1%. Transatlantic US-UK flights rose 6% compared to April 2024.’
South America (+20%), Africa (+17%), and the Middle East (+13%) each saw double-digit gains year-over-year.
Together, the three regions had 20% fewer segments than Texas.
European private jet flights in Week 18 (9,500 departures) were 6% ahead of last year, with a 2% week-to-week increase.
