Over the past week, private jets around the world totaled approximately 7% more flights than the same week last year.
Last week, in Week 46 of 2025, global private jet departures totaled approximately 78,000.
According to WingX, this was about a 7% jump in total flights compared to the same week last year.
Even so, compared to the previous week, private jets recorded a slight drop, mostly due to the strong week recorded two weeks ago.
So far, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
This past week, according to WingX, private jets recorded 78,848 departures worldwide.
Additionally, over the past four weeks, private jets recorded just over 312,000 departures. This was a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
November has remained a strong month for global private jet activity. During the first half of November, private jets recorded 7% more departures than the same period last year.
The strong activity of private jets in November was led by the 117,000 total private jet flights recorded in the United States, which accounted for about 70% of global activity.
However, several regions also saw significant increases. Brazil recorded 4,300 total private jet departures, good for a 22% year-over-year increase. Additionally, India’s 1,800 private jet departures represented a 36% year-over-year jump.
This past week saw several events that contributed to global private jet activity. The Dubai Airshow, which began on Monday, November 17th, led to a significant number of private jet flights.
The three Dubai-area airports, Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), Dubai International Airport (DXB), and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), saw over 200 private jet arrivals leading up to the event. This was nearly 50% more flights than last year.
Additionally, WingX also notably recorded a decline in corporate jet usage for major tech companies.
The “Mag 7” companies, including Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla, reported a 6% decline in private jet usage.
Over the year, these major tech companies saw just over 1,000 total private jet flights.
Even so, over week 46 of 2025, which lasted from November 10th through the 16th, global private jets recorded nearly 79,000 departures. This was a 7% year-over-year increase, but a 1% drop compared to last week.
The US saw a significant year-over-year increase of about 9%, although it still saw a slight week-over-week drop.
Major markets in the US, such as Florida, California, and Texas, each saw year-over-year increases of over 6%. Even so, California saw a 6% drop compared to last week, while Florida and Texas remained stagnant.
Private jet flight activity remained relatively flat in Europe. Even so, the UK and Switzerland each saw a 9% and 5% year-over-year increase, respectively.
France saw a significant decrease in private jet flights, recording 4% fewer flights than last week and 10% fewer flights than the same period last year.
The Middle East also saw a slight week-over-week decrease. However, compared to last year, private jets saw 3% more flights.
South American private jet activity also continued to grow. The region saw 20% more flights compared to last year.

The private jet charter and fractional business segment also showed continued year-over-year growth.
Over the past week, Part 91K and Part 135 operations recorded a 7% year-over-year increase, although it was a 2% decrease compared to week 45.
The US saw a significant increase in charter and fractional private jet flights compared to last year, recording 10% more departures.
Florida and Texas each saw double-digit increases compared to last year. However, compared to the previous week, California saw a slight decrease in charter and fractional private jet flights.

Part 91K and Part 135 operations remained relatively flat in Europe, down 2% from last year.
Germany and France saw week-over-week increases of 8% and 7%, respectively. However, these countries were unable to show continued year-over-year growth.
Even so, the UK and Switzerland saw slight increases in charter and fractional jet operations compared to last year.
The Middle East saw a slight week-over-week drop. However, fractional and charter operations remained strong compared to last year, showing a 1% jump.
Asia saw a significant decline in Part 91K and Part 135 operations. This region saw 14% fewer week-over-week flights and 23% year-over-year flights.
