Private jet flight activity continued its strong momentum with a 3% year-over-year gain compared to the same week last year.
During week 22 of 2026, private jet flights recorded over 76,000 total departures around the world.
This represents a slight decline from last week, showing about 1% fewer flights overall.
However, this number of flights still represents a year-over-year increase, nearly 3% more than the same time frame last year.
So far, in 2026, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:
According to WingX, private jets recorded 76,233 total flights.
This represents a 2.8% year-over-year change from week 21 of 2025.
This also contributes to a 0.2% increase in the year-to-date trend. According to WingX, private jets have recorded about 3.9% more flights in 2026 year-to-date than in 2025.
Nick Koscinski, WingX Analyst, spoke with Private Jet Card Comparisons.
He stated:
‘Week 22 shows steady growth overall, with weekly activity up near 3% and holding at 4% for the year. North America leads year-to-date amongst all regions, while the Middle East remains severely constrained. Our Monaco preview shows that European bizjet traffic is poised for a busy weekend, with roughly twice the normal traffic at Nice and a ramp so full that jets cannot stay.’
Additionally, over the last four weeks, global private jets have recorded nearly 310,000 total departures.
This is a 3% increase compared to the same time period last year.
This represents positive year-over-year growth.
North America continues to lead all major sectors, accounting for 71% of all global traffic.
Overall, the region saw approximately 52,044 total private jet flights.
This represents a 6% year-over-year increase, although it was a slight 5% drop from last week.
According to WingX, the United States recorded over 50,000 private jet departures, representing a 5% year-over-year increase.
Major markets within the US, such as Florida, California, and Texas, each saw large year-over-year increases.
These three states account for nearly 36% of all private jet departures in North America. Additionally, each state has recorded approximately 7% year-to-date growth.
Private jet flight activity in Europe remained relatively flat, recording a total of 13,281 departures.
This represents a slight 1% year-over-year drop.
Several countries saw year-over-year drops, including Germany and France. However, both the UK and Italy remained positive.
However, the region also saw a 13% week-over-week increase, representing a sharp jump from last week. Only Germany saw a significant week-over-week decline.

Additionally, this upcoming weekend represents the Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most premier events for private jet travel.
According to WingX’s analysis of the 2025 event, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) in France saw twice the number of flights it typically sees.
From Thursday to Monday last year, the airport averaged approximately 260 movements per day. This was up 110% from the airport’s typical 125 movements per day.
It is expected that this trend will continue for this year’s Monaco Grand Prix as well.
Elsewhere in the world, the Middle East continued to struggle with private jet flights, seeing about 20% fewer flights year-over-year. However, the week-over-week trend remained relatively flat.
South America saw the largest year-over-year jump, recording about 11% more flights than week 22 of 2025.
Meanwhile, Asia saw a slight decline in private jet flights while Africa remained relatively flat.
Part 91K and Part 135 operations totaled 41,053 flights over the past week.
According to WingX, this represents a 3% year-over-year increase. Compared to last week, fractional and charter operations remained relatively flat.
North America accounted for the largest share of Part 91K and Part 135 flights, with nearly 30,000 departures.

Specifically, the US recorded 28,882 departures. This represents a 9% year-over-year increase.
This was led by Florida and Texas, which both recorded double-digit year-over-year jumps.
Europe, on the other hand, struggled with Part 91K and Part 135 flights, recording only 9,395 flights.
This represents a step up from last week, although it also represents a 7% year-over-year decline.
Major markets, such as Germany and France, saw significant year-over-year decreases.
The Middle East saw one of the region’s largest year-over-year drops, recording 35% fewer fractional and charter flights.
Elsewhere in the world, both Africa and Asia saw year-over-year decreases, while South America saw the largest increase, recording 77% more flights than last year.
