New by-the-seat flights by JSX will link Teterboro Airport to Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale Executive, and Miami Opa Locka.
Teterboro Airport is the next destination for public charter JSX with flight schedules to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale International, and Miami Opa Locka.
The groundbreaking service links four of the 20 busiest private jet airports in the country.
Teterboro Airport, just across the Hudson River from Manhattan, is number one.
Palm Beach International is second.
Opa Locka is the eighth busiest, with Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport ranked 24th.
The news was first reported by frequent flyer website View From The Wing earlier today.
The flights are restricted to members of JSX’s newly launched Club JSX loyalty program.
Flights to FXE and OPF start on October 2, 2025.
Palm Beach begins on November 6, 2025.
Fares start as low as $615 per seat.
One-way first-class fares on American and United start around $325 on similar dates.
The lowest guaranteed availability and rate jet card pricing between TEB and PBI is $15,172, per QUICK COMPARE FLIGHT PRICING from Private Jet Card Comparisons.
That would cover a light jet with at least six seats.
JSX enables flyers to check in as little as 20 minutes before departures.
It uses reconfigured regional jets.
The jets have 30 seats and extra legroom.
There is free WiFi, drinks, snacks, and checked luggage.
However, the significant benefit is using private terminals.
View From The Wing notes scheduled operations are restricted at Teterboro.
The website cited a July 2022 document from The Port Authority of NY & NJ Aviation Department, which states:
‘Scheduled operations are excluded from Teterboro Airport. For purposes of this section, scheduled operation means any common passenger-carrying operation for compensation or hire conducted by an air carrier or commercial operator as to which the certificate holder or its representative holds out to the public that the operation is provided between identified locations at set times announced by a timetable or schedule which is published in a newspaper, magazine, internet website or other advertising medium.’
While the flights appear on the JSX website, one must join or sign in to a Club JSX account to consummate the booking.
View From The Wing notes that by limiting frequency to five or fewer round-trips per week, and/or making the flights only available to members, JSX may have found a workaround.
A spokesperson for JSX declined to comment.
According to research with subscribers of Private Jet Card Comparisons who typically fly via full aircraft charters, jet cards, and fractional ownership, 34.5% are interested in by-the-seat and shared flights.
In June, JSX said it would expand its flying with ATR Turboprops; however, the Teterboro routes appear to be jet service.
