Jet Aviation has added 10 new charter aircraft as part of 22 managed private jets joining its U.S. fleet.
General Dynamics’ Jet Aviation unit is celebrating 40 years of its U.S. aircraft management and charter business.
At the same time, it is expanding its private jet fleet here.
The company has added 22 private jets to its U.S.-managed fleet.
Ten of the aircraft are available for charter.
Vice President Flight Services for the Americas, David Dalpiaz, says, “We are proud to see continuous momentum in our managed fleet and charter offerings.”
He adds, “We are committed to providing our customers with fully tailored, comprehensive management solutions that meet their specific needs.”
Dalpiaz continues, “The ongoing growth of our fleet is a testament to the trust our customers are placing in us, and we are honored to be their partner of choice.”
Services include planning, maintenance management, operational support, crew recruitment, and charter partnership.
Vice President of Owner and Charter Services Leslie Cheshier adds, “From mid-size to ultra-long range (private jets), we are pleased to introduce new offerings that service our customers wherever and whenever they need us. Alongside our existing fleet, these new additions ensure that we continue to offer our customers choices that fit their travel needs.”
Jet Aviation Flight Services began its formation here in 1985.
By 1988, the company had acquired Executive Air Fleet.
That expanded its presence in the U.S. market with some 100 aircraft under management.
Over the last 40 years, it has grown to provide a full spectrum of aircraft solutions.
That includes Part 145 maintenance.
There is also staffing, trip coordination, completions and pre-purchase oversight, operations and maintenance management, inflight services, regulatory compliance, and client services.
The company also provides FBO services.
Worldwide Jet Aviation has over 4,500 employees and 50 locations.
Last year, it ranked 11th in the U.S. in terms of charter and fractional flight hours.
