Private Jet Flight Activity Analysis – 2025 – Week 51 & 52

Global private jet activity continued its year-over-year increase in both week 51 and week 52 of 2025, rounding off a strong year.

Global private jet flight activity was up year-over-year in both Weeks 51 and 52 of 2025.

That ended the year on a 33-week streak from the last period, when segments, as reported by WingX, were below comparable 2024-week levels.

During week 51, private jet flight segments worldwide increased by about 2% compared to the same week in 2024.

This also represented a 3% gain compared to week 50 of 2025.

Additionally, private jet flight activity worldwide continued to grow strongly in the last week of 2025, up 5% year over year.

However, this was a sharp drop from the flight activity recorded during week 51, showing a 14% week-to-week decrease.

So far, on a year-over-year basis, the scorecard shows:

  • Weeks Up: 46
  • Weeks Flat: 3
  • Weeks Down: 3
  • 33 weeks since a down week

During week 51 of 2025, private jets around the world recorded 77,000 total departures.

This was led by the United States, which saw a total of over 53,000 flights, representing a 3% week-over-week increase and a 2% year-over-year increase.

Texas and Florida both saw year-over-year growth, while Florida saw a slight dip in private jet flight activity. Even so, these private jet hotspots also recorded week-over-week jumps in activity.

European private jet flight activity remained fairly stagnant year-over-year, though the region still saw 2% more flights than in week 50 of 2025.

The UK saw a sharp week-over-week drop in flights, which also represented a 2% year-over-year decrease. However, Germany and Italy still held strong, recording year-over-year increases.

Elsewhere around the world, the Middle East saw a significant drop in flights, both compared to week 50 of 2025 and week 51 of 2024.

Africa’s private jet flight activity remained strong, with the continent recording over 1,000 flights in week 51 of 2025. This represented a double-digit increase compared to the previous year.

Additionally, global fractional and charter operations remained strong through week 51 of 2025. Overall, global Part 91K and Part 135 flights recorded over 39,000 departures.

This represents a 6% increase compared to the previous week and a slight increase from the same time period last year.

The United States saw the bulk of these departures, recording just over 29,000 total Part 91K and Part 135 flights.

Florida, Texas, and California also saw slight year-over-year increases, representing continued growth in major American markets.

European fractional and charter operations remained relatively flat, although the region’s 6,724 departures were about 5% more than the previous week.

The UK saw the largest week-over-week decrease, down 12%, and the largest year-over-year decrease, down 4%.

However, the rest of the continent’s fractional and charter operations remained strong, with France recording a significant week-over-week increase of nearly 20%.

The Middle East also saw a sharp drop in Part 91K and Part 135 operations, recording 14% fewer departures than the same week last year.

However, South America continued to show growth in the segment, recording a 21% year-over-year increase.

The last week of 2025 showed continued year-over-year growth. Around the world, private jets recorded over 66,000 total departures.

This represented a 5% increase compared to the last week of 2024. However, this was also a sharp drop compared to the previous week, which recorded 14% more flights.

The United States recorded approximately 4% more flights than the last week of 2024, but also saw a 17% week-over-week decrease.

Major American markets, such as Florida, California, and Texas, saw double-digit week-over-week decreases. Even so, these major markets remained relatively close to the last week of 2024.

The week-over-week decrease in private jet flights continued in Europe, with the region seeing a 26% drop. However, Europe still recorded 6,900 departures, which represents a 6% year-over-year increase.

Most major private jet markets in Europe saw double-digit decreases in total departures, including the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Italy.

However, each of these markets recorded significant year-over-year increases, with Switzerland leading the way with a 9% increase.

Private jet flight activity remained strong elsewhere in the world. The Middle East saw a slight week-over-week decrease compared to week 51 of 2025, but still recorded 1% more flights than last year.

Africa saw one of the only week-over-week increases, as the region recorded over 1,000 flights, which represented an 18% year-over-year increase.

South America saw one of the largest year-over-year jumps, recording 30% more flights than last year.

Fractional and charter operations remained relatively flat year over year.

Part 91K and Part 135 operations recorded over 37,000 total private jet departures during week 52 of 2025.

This was a 1% year-over-year increase, but was also a 4% week-over-week drop.

The US saw the most Part 91K and Part 135 flights, remaining relatively flat compared to last year. This was also a 4% drop compared to week 51 of 2025.

Florida saw a significant week-over-week increase, but still recorded 1% fewer flights than last year.

Additionally, California and Texas each saw week-over-week decreases but remained relatively flat compared to last year.

Europe recorded 7% more flights than the same week of 2024, but still saw 21% fewer flights than the previous week.

The UK, Germany, France, and Italy each recorded double-digit week-over-week decreases but remained strong year-over-year.

The Middle East also saw a slight week-over-week decrease, but still recorded similar flight activity compared to the last week of 2024.

Africa and Asia each saw week-over-week growth in Part 91K and Part 135 operations. Additionally, Asia and South America saw significant increases compared to the same week of 2024.
