The world’s biggest private jet company is adding a significant number of new private jets in 2026.

NetJets says it will take delivery of over 80 private jets this year.

The announcement came via social media.

“NetJets expects to add 80+ factory-new aircraft to our global fleet in 2026—expanding access to state-of-the-art jets and unlocking more travel possibilities for owners,” per the post.

Per a previous post, a private jet operated by the unit of Berkshire Hathaway lands somewhere every minute.

That equates to approximately 1,440 flights per day.

As of December, NetJets reported 826 private jets in its fleet.

The company has been exiting its Citation XLS, Sovereign, and Falcon 2000 fleets.

NetJets is introducing both the Embraer Praetor 500 and Citation Ascend into its fleet.

The latter is the successor of the midsize XLS.

NetJets discontinued offering the XLS in its jet card program in mid-October.

The Ascend brings a flat floor to the popular midsize jet from Textron Aviation.

The first Praetor 500 arrived last year.

The first Ascend is expected in 2026.

Last year, it received its 250th Citation Latitude from Textron Aviation.

It is the largest type in its fleet.

NetJets has large contracts with Textron, Embraer, and Bombardier, giving it options for well over 1,500 private jet deliveries.

Last fall, NetJets said it had already presold more than half of the expected deliveries for 2026.
