Boca Raton, Florida-based Principal Aviation is moving from a charter broker to a hybrid with its first aircraft.

The company calls it a “first step into aircraft ownership and an important milestone in its disciplined expansion within the business aviation market.”

The aircraft is an Embraer Legacy 600.

“The acquisition represents Principal Aviation’s entry into owned lift, enabling the firm to further enhance service quality, operational reliability, and pricing consistency for its charter and jet card clients,” per the news release.

The company said, “By adding an owned aircraft to its platform, Principal Aviation strengthens its ability to align capacity directly with client demand while maintaining the execution standards the firm is known for.”

Wolf Aircraft Advisors supported Principal Aviation on the transaction.

Principal Aviation Partner Lee Simon said, “This acquisition reflects our continued focus on building scalable, high-quality aircraft capacity that directly supports our clients.”

Simon continued, “This transaction also builds on the operational foundation we’ve established across brokerage, maintenance, and aircraft management partnerships.”

Last year, Principal Aviation launched its first jet card.

The company was founded in 2021.
