Flexjet is going carbon neutral with no surcharges to customers, including a 300% offset pledge in Europe

Flexjet says it has achieved carbon-neutral flight operations. The move comes via a partnership with 4Air, the rating system focused on sustainability in private aviation. Since January 2021, Flexjet has been purchasing credits to offset carbon emissions from all flights booked by its U.S.-based customers. Its verified credits will fund carbon offset projects. Those projects negate the impact of emissions generated by its aircraft at no additional expense to its customers.

Luxury charter operator VistaJet wants to be carbon neutral 25 years ahead of the industry’s goal to reduce carbon emissions by 50% in 2050

VistaJet said it is committed to carbon neutrality by 2025. At the same time, it is calling the industry to go further than the current goal of a 50% reduction of emissions by 2050. That objective has been set by civil aviation industry bodies, IATA, and the global business aviation community.
