Flexjet, Sentient Jet acquire another helicopter operator

Directional Aviation’s OneSky Flight, parent of Flexjet and Sentient, says it is targeting managed helicopter fleets, this time adding a U.K.-based operator

Flexjet, the second-largest fractional fleet operator, and sister Sentient Jet, a leader in jet cards, now have a second helicopter operator in the OneSky Flight portfolio. Halo Aviation Ltd., an operator in the United Kingdom, follows the acquisition earlier this year of Associated Aircraft Group (AAG). The latter operates Sikorsky helicopters in the Northeastern U.S.

Moody’s Investor Services announces completion of a periodic review of ratings of One Sky Flight, LLC, the parent of Flexjet, Sentient Jet, FXAIR, and PrivateFly

Moody’s Investors Service has completed a periodic review of the ratings of One Sky Flight, LLC. It includes other ratings that are associated with the same unit. OneSky includes Flexjet, the second-largest fractional provider, leading jet card provider Sentient Jet, plus on-demand charter brokers FXAIR and PrivateFly.

PrivateFly commits to offset 300% of its carbon footprint via 4AIR

4AIR is the first private aviation participant in the IATA Aviation Carbon Exchange

4AIR has become the first private aviation stakeholder to trade on the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Aviation Carbon Exchange (ACE), a centralized platform where airlines and other aviation stakeholders can trade carbon offsets to reduce their climate impact. It transacted 15,000 carbon offsets on behalf of U.K.-based charter and jet card broker PrivateFly to support a solar-renewable energy project developed in India by the Adani Group.
