Sentient Jet renews Kentucky Derby partnership

The jet card provider will continue with a wide variety of hospitality for members during Derby weekend

Directional Aviation’s Sentient Jet said it has renewed its multi-year collaboration with the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, and Churchill Downs as Preferred Private Aviation Partner. As an official partner of the two annual races and their shared home track, Sentient Jet will continue to curate various extraordinary experiences surrounding the weekend’s celebrations, including bespoke private travel services, special on-site hospitality offerings and the third annual Derby Day Breakfast hosted by Brand Ambassador and Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay.

Sentient Jet continues its support of Homes For Our Troops

Jet card seller Sentient is following up its support of the charity started at the Kentucky Derby during the Preakness Stakes

Directional Aviation’s Sentient Jet (Flexjet, Skyjet and Nextant Aerospace are sister companies) said it will continue its support of Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds homes for severely injured Veterans, through the sponsorship of three-year-old thoroughbred Tenfold at the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 19th.

A Kentucky Derby price comparison of Jet Cards vs. On-Demand Charter

If you are looking for the lowest price, our fastest two minutes of comparing private aviation options (again) shows an answer that might be a surprise

If you are flying between 10 and 100 hours per year (fractional ownership starts at 50 hours and requires a three to five-year commitment plus financing your share) jet cards and on-demand charter are generally the two easiest options. While on-demand charter enables you to choose a specific aircraft, due to operational reasons the aircraft you select sometimes changes, and if your broker is sourcing your plane from a fleet operator, often times your tail number isn’t confirmed until close to your flight time. With jet cards you are more typically buying into a jet size category – Light Jets, Midsize Jets, etc. although some programs offer specific jet types.

Homes For Our Troops gains support from Sentient Jet

Sentient is using the Kentucky Derby to bring attention to Homes For Our Troops which builds and donates specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans

Directional Aviation’s jet card arm, Sentient Jet (Flexjet and Skyjet are sister companies), announced it will sponsor Combatant in the upcoming 144^th running of The Kentucky Derby in an effort to generate awareness and support for Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization championed by Combatant’s ownership group Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC and Willis Horton Racing LLC.
