Air Charter Service opened a new sales office in Chicago on March 1.
“Chicago has been on our radar as a natural location for another U.S. office for a number of years. The city is the third-largest in population in the country and has one of the highest GDPs in the world – generating $689 billion last year,” said Richard Thompson, president for the Americas.

GlobeAir has launched a new CSER (Corporate Social and
Environmental Responsibility) roadmap 2020 and putting sustainability as one of
the company’s long-term goals.
The company is using the hashtag #WeArePlanetA. As part of the initiative, it will now be possible to offset one’s carbon footprint for private jet flights on GlobeAir.
Aviation accounts for just 2% of all carbon emissions. Business aviation’s carbon emissions are about 2% of the aviation total, and 0.04% of global human-made emissions.

U.K.-based Air Charter Service, which offers fixed-rate, guaranteed availability for both the U.S. and Europe, is revamping its carbon offset strategy.
The new program started the beginning of the month for all its private jet flights. On March 1 it will be available for commercial airliner charters.
