Connecticut-based Tradewind Aviation is continuing its steady growth adding two more Pilatus PC-12 turboprops.
Tradewind Aviation has notched a win against the big airlines. The Connecticut-based operator of Pilatus PC-12s and Citation CJ3s was rated fifth on this year’s Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice list of best U.S. airlines.
Tradewind Aviation is cutting the four-to-five-hour drive between Westchester County and Newport, Rhode Island to 40-minutes in the air. Beginning July 2, it will offer by-the-seat flights using private jet terminals aboard its fleet of Pilatus PC-12s. According to its website, tickets are priced from $145 each way.
Tradewind Aviation is offering discounting flat rates from Teterboro and Westchester County Airport to South Florida. The offer is valid through the end of June.
