Not all private jets have WiFi or make it available – These jet cards give you guaranteed WiFi with fixed rates and guaranteed availability
Don’t assume you will have free WiFi, guaranteed when you charter a private jet via a jet card or membership program.
Booming demand for private jet travel and inflight WiFi led Gogo Inc. to its first positive net income in company history during Q3
Gogo Inc. is benefiting from the surge in demand for private jet travel. The Chicago-based provider of inflight connectivity reported a record total revenue of $87.2 million in Q3. That’s 31% up compared to Q3 2020 and 6% compared to Q2 2021.
Previously jet card members had to pay a surcharge to ensure WiFi on their flights
Gold level members of Airstream Jets’ Distance Card will now have guaranteed WiFi. It’s applicable when they book midsize, super-midsize and large cabin private jets. Previously there was a 5% surcharge.

Jet Cards are the fastest-growing segment of private aviation, with the number of providers and programs having more than doubled since the Great Recession. Buyers are moving to these programs due to the short-term commitment of jet cards, fixed hourly rates provided in advance, guaranteed aircraft availability—meaning travelers can always get an aircraft when needed—and avoidance of ferry fees, the charge to reposition planes. Determining how much to pay for a private aircraft, however, is no easy feat and can vary greatly on where and when you are flying. In “Jet Card Pricing: 19 Factors That Impact the Cost of Your Private Jet Flights,” author and jet card expert, Doug Gollan, guides readers through what to consider when determining which jet card program best suits their needs.
