Private jet flight activity dips post-Thanksgiving as Florida charter and fractional private jet flights drop 16% week-over-week
The week ended Dec. 12, 2021, gave the private aviation market a slight breather as global private jet flights declined 2% week-over-week, led by an 11% drop in Florida. However, the Middle East saw a 14% gain, the week’s big winner.

The Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. revealed interesting twists on how private jet flying is evolving. While global private jet flights for Week 47 were 22% above 2019 levels, they were down 11% from Week 46, according to WingX data.
